Toronto federal bylection wins got tighter for the Liberals. Green leader Annamie Paul’s strong voter support didn’t stop Marci Ien from winning in Toronto Centre on the eve of the publication of a book she wrote while still at CTV. Liberal candidate Ya’ara Saks won a closer race in York Centre that also featured Max Bernier on the ballot.

CBC’s digital programming head, Gave Lindo, has moved to a comparable job with the short-video app, which is now working with Shopify to try and lure more merchants.
