Justin Trudeau lashed out at the maskless influencer partiers from Quebec, who are having a hard time getting a flight home from Cancun after showing off their rowdy conduct. While the partying passengers are now facing potential jail time, and fines of up to $5,000, certain members of 111 Private Club are saying they followed the rules.

Why did Doug Ford flip-flop on closing schools? What happened? That question, more than any other, is being asked in the wake of Premier Doug Ford’s Omicron U-turn. Here’s the inside story.

Reporting from the Toronto Star reveals an initial desire among certain insiders to respond to Omicron by closing schools sooner. Global News Radio’s new national weeknight host is Ben O’Hara-Byrne. The veteran reporter’s A Little More Conversation sounds destined to have less to do with the host’s political opinion than predecessor Charles Adler. Meanwhile at iHeartRadio, nightly host Jamil Jivani has disappeared from schedules without any explanation.

Finally, punked over pronouns

Avril Lavigne had her 2002 hit “Sk8er Boi” invoked on Twitter by U.S. Republican representative Lauren Boebert, who wonders if the “delusional Left” will cancel it due to the opening line: “He was a boy / She was a girl / Can I make it any more obvious?” You can surely blame this on Lavigne dusting off the tune in the waning hours of 2021:
